Meet your representatives
My name is Paul Austin and I am standing for Templeton School Board. I have currently been on the board for the last three years with recently taking over as Board Chair. My youngest daughter Willow is a year 7 at Templeton and over this time I have seen my two older children Emily and Kyra progress through Templeton Primary School on to High School. Over the last 3 years it has been awesome to not only see great results coming from Templeton but also to see how well the ex Templeton Students have been doing at High School and how well they are being prepared for this next step while at Primary School. I am standing again for the school board as I would like to be able to continue to contribute to Templeton Primary School and to ensuring that our students have the best possible learning environments from when they enter Primary School to when they progress on to their next journey.
Hi Everyone, I’m Adrian Matthews, currently vice Chair of the TOS BoT. First and foremost I’m the parent of 3 current students spread through the school, my wonderful wife is also an active member of the PSG and we as a family are totally committed to the continued development of TPS and the support of the TPS team throughout the school. My professional is Estate, Property and Project management and I hope to use my experience rebuilding/redeveloping schools throughout the South Island to best effect with the upcoming MOE project at TPS. My name is Jo Watkins and I am standing for the Templeton School Board. We have two children at Templeton School, Harry & Alfie Dodds, and our Family is involved with the School community. The Board works to shape the future direction of our School and I want to be part of the Board to ensure Templeton School remains an awesome School for our Children to learn & grow at. I have worked in Small Business Advisory for my whole career, and enjoy finding common sense solutions to problems that arise. I have strong Financial Management skills and would love to use these to help in the continued success of our School.
